May Devotion to Our Lady.
The month of May is a special month here in our parish, traditionally, we bring our flowers every Sunday for the decoration of our lady’s altar, and we would usually sing our special hymns in honour of our Lady. So, from next week, let us bring our flowers.
This Sunday is World Day of Prayer for Vocations.
This Sunday is World Day of Prayer for Vocations. We pray especially for Gerard Holden and Matthew McCafferty who are seminarians of the Archdiocese. We also keep in our prayers [your parish priest] and all priests, deacons and religious in the Archdiocese who dedicate their lives to serving God and His people. A second collection will take place for Ecclesiastical Students at all Masses on Sunday 11 May which helps cover tuition fees and living costs for our seminarians. You can also donate at bit.ly/eccstudents25
Assisted Suicide:
Critical debate this coming week. Bills will be debated and voted on at Holyrood and Westminster on 13 May (Holyrood) and 16 May (Westminster). Those who are ill or dying deserve special care and respect not killing. Assisted suicide consists of putting an end to the lives of handicapped, sick or dying persons and would change the NHS. Please write to your MP and MSPs urgently. The easiest way is via https://writetothem.com
Blessings to you, your families and those who are dear to you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
