The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

SACRAMENTS

Remember that the booking of mass for our special intentions, wedding anniversaries, Birthday thanksgiving, Death anniversaries of our loved ones and general prayers is highly recommended. The mass stipends (Donations) are part of our contribution towards the good of the church and support of our priest.

Baptisms are arranged after consulting the Parish Priest and can take place during Sunday Mass or at a separate service, depending on what suits the family and Parish. If you live outside the Parish, you need permission from your own Parish Priest before arrangements can be confirmed. Download form here.

In accordance with Archdiocesan policy, a minimum period of six months notice must be given. This is to allow adequate time to ensure that a course of preparation is undertaken; to allow time to collate and complete the necessary paperwork for both the Church and civil authorities; to plan the wedding liturgy.

Families of deceased parishioners should contact an undertaker, who will coordinate with the Parish office and cemetery or crematorium to arrange the funeral. The priest celebrating the funeral or a deacon will then contact the family to assist with selecting hymns and readings.
